About

Classy

[Adam]  I have been loved by an amazing God and a fantastic wife. Just ask and I'll talk your ear off about either one of them. I am a first year graduate student at University of Oregon in Portland.

[Brittney] First and foremost I am a Christian. I try my best to serve God, my husband, and those around me. I earned my B.A. in Psychology at Western Washington University and plan to continue my education by earning my M.A. in Counseling and/or School Counseling. My passion (and ultimate goal) is working with children who have experienced trauma in their life. A few hobbies include: reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my husband and family.

So why a blog.....

[Brittney] As newlyweds who live in a new city apart from friends and family it has become increasingly difficult to keep everyone we care about informed about our lives. I think that blogging is going to be a great way to document our lives together and have one place where people can catch up on The Lawlers.

And to be completely honest I have a second motive for blogging. My great friend Amanda always talked about her blog during my time getting to know her at WWU. I would be inspired to start a blog one week and intimidated by the creative aspect the next. However, now that I live in a new city, have more time, and a little more courage I think I am ready for the blogging world! I have noticed that Amanda is able to express herself through her blog and you can tell she has grown creatively-a couple reason why I would like to start blogging. Not to mention that as I read Amanda's blog it makes me feel like I am still involved in her daily life even though I may not actually talk to her everyday. I am hoping that I can provide a way for my friends and family to feel involved in my life as well as express myself in a creative way.

[Adam] Being in a different city is pretty exciting for us, and I think it would be good to share some of the neato things we find and experience in the city.
